So I popped the hose off and stuck a pipe cleaner in the hole and there was a block about 2cm's in. I twisted the thing a little bit and something that looked like a mothball came out. It had sealed up the hole pretty well judging by how gummed up the edges were. I hope that's been the root of the problem the last few years and maybe, just maybe I solved it sufficiently that it doesn't cause wet feet again for a while.

Might want to clean the evaporator core, might be filled with mold & mildew from being plugged.

It sure could be. I put that new drain hose in right before I drove down to the Florida Keys at the beginning of Feb. The car spent some time in quiet corners of parking lots where I could definitely see spiders looking to get out of the sun finding a nice damp ac drain hose to hang out in. Then the car did a lot of sitting around, parked on the grass, here at home while we were under stay at home guidance. Perfect cool, damp, quiet time for spiders to do their egg laying thing.

Just came across while I was further searching the forum (sorry for my post - at least there is a video now). Little confused regarding the hose you mentioned. Is the the draining hose, under the carpet from the left to right behind the styrofoam like part? Haven’t checked yet. What would be the best way to clean it. I can also get a new one if it can be taken out easily Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

OP sold his twin a couple years ago. The drain tube blockage is common. Sometimes even rodents set up camp.
