Honestly I think this is what honda needs, as well as Mazda with their joint project. Honda really needs to reclaim their throne in the performance world. I honestly cant name the last good looking and world renowned car they've built in the past 4 years.

I am definitely exaggerating I don't hate the thing but Honda could have done way better with it. Just disappointed with Honda's efforts in the past few years. The Mugen CR-Z was kind of interesting, its kinda what I expected the car to be at its launch time.

I've always been a Honda fan and always will be, but like others have mentioned, Honda has lost their touch (for performance, anyway). If they were still making the S2k when I was in the market for a new car, I would've bought that in a heartbeat. I can only hope they'll bring something back, if not make something new that reminds us of the older Hondas we all love.
![]() Someday I'll have another Integra. Preferably a GSR or Type R.

I guess the other manufacturers aren't about that money.
Like, hmm, Toyota and Subaru captured a part of the market and is having trouble keeping cars on lots. Let's NOT make something to grab some of that marketshare.

They need to make a RWD Integra and give up on the S2K. We don't need a 40k sports car that has 250hp/165tq and weighs 2800 lb. Actually those numbers will be better suited to a 26k base car instead.
169 inches length 50.7 inches height 70 inches width 2+2 RWD 27-2800 lbs 250hp/165tq from a 2.2-2.4L,D/I with 8000 rpm redline $26,500 manual $27,700 auto |

I'll believe when I see it. Honda hasn't had anything exciting in their lineup since the s2000. And I'm sure their isn't a 'SUIT' that wants to continue the tradition and make an exciting car like Akio Toyoda.

![]() Lol I'm assuming you're joking and referencing how they insist every car is sporty. With that said, my parents have a 04 MPV...a minivan. With the 5 speed auto this thing shifts faster, turns flatter, and goes quicker than their camry. Now it also breaks down a lot more since it's a Ford.

![]() 250hp is too much to ask for, not because it's hard to bring 250hp for the correct price, but because downsized engines are the name of the game these days. American car makers are the only ones willing to drop relatively high displacement engines into cars. Again, if Honda makes anything rear wheel drive, and with a higher redline than 7000 (and a >5 speed transmission), we should be grateful that they're taking enthusiasts seriously, and trying to bring a genuinely good, well thought out product to the market. Oh and, a price under what the S2000 was please The S2000 was great but the price of entry was too high. Understandable given the nature of the car, but if that's the best they can do then they should aim lower.
