I believe all of the horizontally opposed Subarus use floating wrist pins. The pistons are installed in the block after the rods/crank are already assembled in the case so it would be a little difficult to press a pin in there.

dunno if this has been seen before but from what i see in this video looks like normal pistons to me compared to the direct injection 2gr-fse pistons....correct me if im wrong? cause from what i understood the pistons had to be designed a certain way to allow efficient combustion with the direct and port injection like the one rendered on page one...?
