I have confirmed fitment of a certain wheel on a TRD 86 but now I'm not sure if it will fit my PP BRZ. I was told offset wasn't the issue, it's barrel clearance. So do the PP Brembos provide more barrel clearance or the TRD Brembos? |

gpvecchi: you are sure on that? (checking up in background, as maybe cheaper then PP retrofit). Or you wrote that about same clearance, not about same parts?

Does anyone know if the Sparco Assetto Gara 17x7.5 et48 will clear Brembos with a spacer? Tire Rack says they won't fit, but they don't know how close it is. The Trofeo 5 in the same size fit, so I'm thinking the Gara shouldn't be far off. I don't mind running a small spacer. Should the barrel diameter on these 2 wheels be the same?

What clearance do we need to the caliper to claim they fit? 3mm? 5mm?
Is minimum spoke clearance different than minimum barrel clearance? |
