Ahhh but the newest is not always the best. You have as good a chance of seeing your at become the legend compared to the newer version.

As far as styling goes I figure there's a 50/50 chance Toyota will cock-up the new one. After a recent dealership service they parked my freshly washed car up front next to a brand-new TRD 86. Granted I'm SUPER biased but I actually preferred the look of my '13. Maybe they will turn the new 86 into a mini Zupra. |

... the twins honestly have one of the best feeling shifters of all modern cars IMO. They don't have the 'numb' rubber bushing feeling of most passenger cars; instead the shifts actually feel mechanical like you're directly connected to everything.

It'd prefer a stout inline 4 over a boxer 4.
The Miata is every bit that, and far better. |

A solid shifter bushing will fix that. I'd be happy to see the brz's black mouthguard disappear, and maybe less "activity" in the Toyota front-end. But to be honest, I'll be happy getting a nice second-hand gen 1 for a reasonable price. |

First-year 2nd gen wouldn't be the same experience as 1st gen without some sort of recall requiring the engine to come out.

Keep it light and simple. Add a 2.5 motor. Done.

It’s possible next gen car has LESS power so as not to crowd the base Supra.
