I've punished my car from new, currently at 25k km without a issue.
Tuned NA, lots of LC and FFS. Now 8 psi FI, lots of LC and FFS, still on stock clutch. I would not worry about it until you need to. Disclaimer: if your running sticky slicks all bets are off.

From what I've heard some high-horsepower 86 builders would shift 3rd-5th since 5th is a more robust gear than 4th.
