Literally
I ignored the instructions and went off a video with some common engineering practises and had no issues with the car. Since then had a modified OFT tune and wow, it really shoves the torque dip down below usable rpm range |

No the bracket is on. I just took it off and wire brushed the block a little bit and the bracket it's self just a bit to see and it actually stayed on longer and idled better but then it dies after about a minute. I'm going to do it again I guess and clean it up even more but idk what else to do. The bracket I have does seem to be heavily coated in zinc or something. Not sure if that is really a problem or not but but a little with brush helped a little.

Found what I believe to be the issue. Sanding down the bracket actually did make it idle much better and longer but still was going up to about 2k rpm then dropping to about 400 rpm and shooting up to 1500 rpm then dying. This time I took out the orange rubber gaskets from the underside of the plastic manifold and there was a decent cunck missing from one. So I just ordered new gaskets and I'll try this again. Really hope that's my problem.

Hi guys, I just installed the kit today but I didn't had the grounding bracket. However I checked with a multimeter and I measure continuity between battery negative and ECU metal body, even without connecting the bolt to the frame, which should be the actual grounding point
Idle seems to work fine, no issues Should I just forget then or try to find a bracket still? |

But I'm wondering if required, because as I say I measured continuity between DI ecu frame and negative battery 😅 In 15mins drive I didn't feel anything weird or idle issues |
