That's weird. With that of a rapid sound, it sounds like something is wrong with the ABS.

When the rubber coupler that connects the EPS motor to the worm gear wears out it will be metal to metal and makes a very similar chatter when doing moderate braking. If it’s the EPS coupler you should also hear it when not braking when going low speed over high frequency bumps like road reflectors or a dirt road. If you are getting a little knock on reflectors then my money is on the EPS coupler. It’s under $10 to fix if you are willing to DIY and have very basic tools.

This is exactly what it does even on small bumps at low speeds

If it’s the EPS the sound will come from right behind the gauge cluster down around tour feet. You can actually reach your hand up under there and put your hand on the motor.
