Guys, if you run into a problem on track, you HAVE TO TELL THE ORGANIZERS!
A few years ago there was a guy out in an Ariel Atom, I was in my Miata and chasing my friend in his Lotus, the guy in the Atom was apparently a noob and trying to point-by in sports that are prohibited, hitting the brakes coming OUT of the turn and generally driving like a complete moron. Matt and I grabbed one of the instructors and told him to watch the guy next session, he was promptly black flagged and the instructor drove his car the next two sessions. Don't be afraid to speak up at a track day, you're paying for the experience as well. And guys that are driving dangerously put everyone at risk. |

Holy cow i would not want to be in the track with that guy. It looked like he forced that grey car off track *GTR?). I wonder if the Porsche guy wasn't just pushing it thought those turns harder then he wanted to just to get away from that dude.

I don't think so; the guy in your video has some sense of throttle control. The original video I posted just has the guy mashing the throttle as soon as he starts turning.

The second link posted below is the same one. Chasing a Porsche throughout the 22 min. Timestamps all match from this thread.

Both of those videos are terrifying. I'm honestly not sure how I'd react if I was on the track with this guy, but I'm certain that our conversation in the pits would be very heated. What a complete unmitigated moron. Now I know why when I showed up for my first private instruction at a local track that I'd scheduled the day before last minute, that the guy said "Oh good, you're not in a Corvette" as soon as he saw my car.
