I've been using the extreme contacts contis in 225/45/17 on standard calipers/rotors/fluid. I try not to use the brakes too much though since Im afraid to overheat them. I noticed they leave big deposits of pad material all over the place. :P

Based on how the BBKs are for this platform, the C1s will work quite even on slicks. We've been reserving the C2s for cars with fairly high brake application requirements (ie: W2W on Hoosiers, 8Beat, 86BRZ Race, GT-R R35). Our test vehicle is using C1 front (BBK) and C2 rear stagger to figure out what was possible. For our case, this was quite good.

Ninja Edit: It's also important to note that "bite" is misinterpreted as high friction. The reality is, a stiffer pad with quality production control can yield strong bite with a lower coefficient of friction pad. Too much "bite" may actually be bad and can often be felt as quick ABS engagement that is difficult to stay out of. Vehicles with highly intrusive ABS systems such as the 350Z/Nismo 350Z are using our C1 pads with fairly low ABS intrusion, an issue that often comes with many different pad compounds available on the market. The result is a caliper that doesn't look like burnt toast and brake consistency that feels a little bit like black magic.

Hybrid brake pads are great for autocross and daily applications. Winmax W3 is a good start for that type of application. We've recently had to setup a full race compound pad for a SM Classed car (Hoosiers with 500hp+).
