Can you feel 5-7 pounds of wheel weight per corner? 20 lbs total
How does 5-7 pounds per corner less of wheel and tire weight savings really feel like? I mean i am sensitive to an empty gas tank. So would i feel it especially over potholes and bumpy roads?

It is a different perspective.
I felt much different when I changed to Enkei rpf1, but not much different taking out all the stuff from the trunk. (my trunk was stripped.) |

It's not the overall weight that it affects it's the unsprung weight. You feel it in the brakes, steering and suspension for the most part

I felt a 4.5 lb drop for sure changing wheels but got used to it pretty quick after a couple times driving it.

TBH i felt nothing going from stock wheels to 17x8 RPF1s which are super light. i didnt upsize tires either.

Outer wheel weight (tire) is more significant of a weight issue then alloy wheels. However, trying to reduce tire weight by 1-3 pounds can /is difficult.
Doing both at the same time (new alloys shaving 3-7 lbs per corner) and new tires.... 215 /40- 17" , you'd probably notice a difference. Or , if you'd be willing to go 16" wheel, you for sure can reduce down wheel weight that way fast, but tire weight could still be similar to a 17" wheel ( due to the fact most 16" tires tend to have a higher profile , like a 205- 55- 16" ) If you live where it rains a lot, don't skimp... get a quality rain tire (not all season)

Went with lightweight Konig Hypergrams 17x8 at 16.5lbs and stock size tires in Hankook Evo's at 19 lbs . So saved about 6lbs total for a lot less money then the t66f setup As for your question its similar to the lightweight pulleys where you can feel some acceleration gains in 1st and second. Suspension wise the wheels will be able respond to bumps better and easier on the brakes to stop a lighter wheel
