Oil Cooler Install (sandwich style)

So is this really a complete kit for those NA or do you still need fittings? Or is the issue just with FI setups?

It is a complete kit for NA, just with the varying port sizes, they picked a hose size in-between and you have to make sure to tighten the clamps well. Adapters could make it easier to tighten things.

The problem is some FI kits use the throttle body ports, or relocate stuff, so you might need new hoses or a new place to tap into the coolant if you aren't switching to an air-to-oil cooler.

Yea, see below. Ambient temps for me were in the 90's and I drove a bit harder during the oil cooler test (higher coolant temps). Not a great data comparison but it was the best I could do. I saw hardly any change with the cooler when driving near the max. I'll do another test at some point with this.

I have to wonder if the coolant temp difference would have shown a bigger oil temp difference without a cooler.
