Troubleshooting ticking sound from wheel well area while turning?

Hi all

Just finished a track session in my car, when putting in steering lock, especially past 45 degrees, especially on right hand turns, I would hear a ticking sound from the front end, 90% sure its front end anyway. It sounded like from the front left wheel area during right hand turns. My passenger said they heard similar in the front right especially on left hand turns.

It sounded related to rotation, the frequency of "ticks" would be higher at higher wheel speeds. The best way I can describe the noise would be the sound some small gravel makes getting kicked up into the wheel well, but it was very regular and discrete ticks.

We did some slow turns in the parking lot and the noise persisted again ticking with steering lock with a frequency related to wheel speed. No rotational noise without steering input, except the odd squeak from my right rear caliper that's been giving me grief and probably needs pins re-greased.

I tried reversing in case there was some debris in a caliper or something, all fluids are good and lugs were secure. Car handled great, tracked straight, felt fine and I noticed nothing on my drive to the track.

Will get the car on the jack stands tomorrow to see if I can see anything but wanted to see if anybody had any thoughts before I dove in. Will see if I can get anything on video

No fancy modifications, see below. Thanks for any input

2013 6MT, eibach pro kit, whiteline camber bolts, 15mm/20mm spacers F/R, kosei k4rs on RS4s, HC 800 pads with RBF600 fluid.

Last time I had this type of noise... It was a nail in my tire.

This was my other thought, what should I be looking for when I get it up on the stands? Fairly sure its a noise coming from the front end.

Car has ~40k miles on it

I don't have tpms on my track wheel/tire set up but Ill take my wheels off and give them a look.

Do you still have the backing plates on your front rotors? Those may be rubbing.

The dust plates? Or the pad backing plates? In both cases yes. Curious what would they rub on? Will def take a look, thanks for the suggestion

Dust plates. It could be grazing up against the rotor every rotation or so.
