There have been a few threads on here on the subject. The answers ranged from something stuck in a tire (the most frequent problem) to bad axles (the rarest problem) and just about everything in between. If it keeps up just take it in and have it checked since trying to diagnose a noise over the internet is actually pretty futile even if there are guys that will try.

I had this exact problem. Took it to a dealer while I was under warranty, and after they had had it for a few hours, called me to let me know that one of the bolts in the axle wasn't torqued to spec. They retightened everything, and I haven't heard it again in the two years since.

Re-torque the axle nut usually fixes it. A good dealership should do it no questions asked in less than an hour.

Most dealerships are not that good.

My dealership claimed it was a loose spare tire nut. So I re-torqued the axle nut, and it went away. Bunch of FUCKING RETARDS I swear..
