I contacted CX and was told the Ebay price is valid because they are discounting several items there. Nevertheless, I'll go with a different make because of the thermostat issue.

Just one example.
I've had a bad experience with them before, so I chose to buy from ft86sf and just pay the extra duties.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend this kit unless you are good at fixing things, especially pressurized oil.

However, the heat exchanger mounting is ideal for some setups.

PS- why do you require a thermostatic sandwich living in FL? Maybe in a cold state it is needed if you drive in cold weather. Since the heat exchanger is located immediately behind my intercooler, I literally have it blocked with a piece of cardboard until temps are consistent above 10-15 C here.

The oil temp max sustained on OEM grade oil is up there in the 230 F/125 C range. When I tracked my car without an oil cooler I'd get off after a few mins at that temp using 0W40. This year 0W20 or 5W30 with the cooler should be good. I will have an OBD2 Bluetooth dongle and use Torque on my phone to monitor.
