Update for anyone who cares. Wiring harness complete. It wasn't that hard after all!

Next step is to fabricate a mount so that I can properly install it in the engine bay

Another update for the non-carers. I've designed a bracket to mount the power block next to the battery. A friend of mine is going to CNC it and fold it with a brake. Hopefully I'll have a pretty sweet, aluminum bracket soon! Here's a mock-up:
