The power steering is assisted by an electric assist motor controlled by it's own ECU. I don't think there's any flashes for power steering??

If anything it should be heavier, not lighter imo. Idunno what's wrong with OP, but he needs to start flexing

Man. To each their own, but this is the first electric steering system I actually like. I can't imagine wanting to ruin it to make it feel lighter.
