If narrowed down to the left brake strip you either have developed a dead short someplace or the ballast for those ones is bad. I doubt rewiring the triangle is going to help anything in the left brake strip. If you still have the stock lights then put them back on and get ahold of the vender or Valenti to see what they have to say.

![]() Edit: would it be matter if the 3rd break light is wired to the left (not working) side rather than the right (working) |

I don't know the whats and whys, but I thought it was the aftermarket tails because... aftermarket.... The OEM tails are designed to last the life of the car and will if left alone. Aftermarket stuff is usually not engineered and produced to the same quality. That's why OEM stuff is always so expensive.
I hope you can suss it out though. |

Yes, it would very much make a difference. Disconnect just the triangle and see what happens.

Doing a little update to this thread, I found the source of the problem. It seems when I hit that area on the road it must of loosened up the clips that hold the 4th brake light wiring harness in place against the back end of the cars body. I found the wiring harness had fallen out of place and landed on the top of my exhaust tip slightly. This caused the plastic around the wires to melt and some of the wires connected to eachother, I pulled all the plastic away from the wires and seperated each individual wire with a razor blade before using electric tape to cover each wire back up. Finished by generously applying the tape to the harness aswell, popped in a new 7.5 amp fuse and voila ! No more abs & traction lights, everything works as I used to however car handling seems to have been affected by driving with them disabled slightly... already getting a reimbursement from Toyota tomorrow for the previous “work” then I’ll have them check out the other issues
