Ehh on the older cars I could definitely feel the dip be filled in. It didn't feel like a rocket ship obviously, but I wasn't pissed off at the dip anymore.

My 2017 still has the vtec feeling like im going from no torque to tons.

Tunes for the 2017 cars do not have nearly the same performance gains as the 13-16.

As I've sadly found out...

But the biggest reason I bought it was to bump up the rev limit and to make it a softer limit for autocross (since the second gear is so short), and it did in fact do that. Once they figure out launch control for the 2017 then I'll be content.

Or it can be worded other way. 2017 may have share of max gains already as stock.

Could be true, but I know that for 2017 the stock headers were changed quite a bit to increase flow, yet the stock car only gained 5hp over the previous generations. I would think that the stock 2017 header should allow me to get some nice gains with the right tune. I bashed on the car for quite a while, and I couldn't get it to knock even once according to the OFT.

If anyone has any suggestions/guides on tuning timing, AFR, etc to get the best gains possible from a road tune let me know and I'll do it and post the results (and the tune if anyone would want it).

But the fact that the car didn't have to once correct timing for knock tells me I have power to be had.

So after being able to smell a bit of gas after doing some pulls I logged a little launch to redline 1st, redline 2nd, and 3rd to 7k rpm and it's at 11.02 AFR from about 6-7k and it seems really rich in quite a few places. And once again no knock correction. So to me it looks like the stage 1 tune at least is super conservative and probably for 91 octane.

Anyone have any input on the AFRs?

You need to log afr commanded as well, with that you can determine if you need to scale your MAF or not.

The 2017 fuelling works different to the old cars, theirs extra tables one ecutek calls "power AFR" it doesn't seem to be identified the the opensource definitions I have seen, however shiv may have better defs. The extra tables are used as well as the normal OL fuel tables (and their is two of those as well)

How do I change what the OFT logs?
