Would anyone blame torque dip if it had been honda's 4-banger? VTEC, yo

S2000 being somewhat comparable at 100hp per liter has a flat torque from 3000rpms - 6000rpms before rising at the end. Not much better at all. Would rather have our linear torque rise with UEL & Tune

You would definitely want to pass on this idea then. There will almost certainly be losses in other areas of the powerband. Without variable cams or variable intake geometry, every breathing mod is bound to be a compromise. This is (may be, should be, maybe will be) a compromise in favor of high rpm power at the expense of torque somewhere lower down.

Those are lovely indeed! Been following your ITB build, getting all sorts of ideas (dual plenum, dual throttle body, cross ram!) 😂

Hey Celek,

I love the ITB project, was looking at it in the other thread a couple of weeks ago. I know you know what you're doing, but I'd just like to offer a suggestion that you can take or leave, but that I feel very strongly about:

I would strongly recommend against using two throttle motors and instead either use a throttle motor/wheel mounted between the runner banks, and then link that throttle wheel to throttle wheels on each set of throttle bodies. Or You could run the throttle on one bank as you have it set, and then on the opposite side of the bank run a throttle wheel with a linkage going to the other bank of throttle bodies attached to it's own throttle wheel.

I would hate to have to deal with two throttles that potentially didnt react the same, or at worst one failed so it was substantially slower than the other or didnt open at all. It might make the problem of syncing them a non-issue, and reduce the likelihood of some tuning issues.

I will have to search through my saved links I have a company that makes a sync box for 2 throttle bodies. Not overly expensive. Or maybe I will build an Arduino box that way I can tune each side perfectly

Not specifically what you are talking about, but related and relevant for people interested in multiple throttle bodies/intake manifolds.
