Hell, it still isn't even officially confirmed by Toyota that the Supra will even be a production car so they certainly are not making statements about other plans for the platform.

Doesn't matter if you would rather run it in back there are loads that do not. FWD can handle every bit of HP that RWD can if they engineer things right. Yes they have to deal with torque steer but that is no different than RWD having to deal with the rear end kicking out at high HP launch. Will they stop making high level Mustangs and turn them all into AWD just because people keep losing them on launch and bouncing off curbs (and crowds)?

Not only will the modular chassis underpin BMW’s Z5, but has it that Toyota’s next-gen GT86 will also use a shortened version of this platform – while the Supra would use the full-length version complete with inhouse V6.

They don't even give a source to any of that. Seems like nice Clickbait to me.

LOL Notice most are North American luxury cars. And some actually do set the car scene on fire. Just not the scene you or I are interested in. That does not make them bad in any way.

I had initially picked up the articles in the actual paper copies of the magazine and something similar was posted in Evo around the same time Both publications are pretty decent in what they say. They're near enough to the scene to get a feel for what's going down.


As for eating cars... I'll leave it to this guy..
