I followed the 'High Rev Cold Start Noise Reduction in this thread'.

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74754

The hard part was finding a def to get to 'MAF Correction after Start'

That folder was not in the def for my tune so I got a def from

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83945

You have to make sure the def cal id matches your cal id. I am new to this tunig so there are better people here to ask for advice.

If your tune is based on B01C, most OFT ones are, then they are correct. You can use the BRZcheck tool to confirm.

It's likely a B01C edited to fool the OFT into flashing it. Look here

@allowe as expected the tune is a ID hacked ZA1JB01C. My definitions are setup for that so you can use them without issue.

Dude thank you so much!

holy crap my car is so much quieter at cold start and I've got ofh and mxp exhaust. I work a night shift and I leave my house at 11:30 pm and comeback early in the morning. Now I don't have to wake up my neighbourhood anymore... until I hit the main road hehe.

Thank you all for your help!

Hey random question. What does everyone do after they flash they're ecu? I usually wait 10 minutes instead of 45 seconds while not touching anything and letting it idle by itself.

Turn on ignition (engine off) - Pedal to the floor 5 times.
Start engine and idle for 1 minute - can be 30 seconds if engine is already warm (oil 50C+) as the AVCS will reset and become operational quicker.

Hey what if you lowered your idle even more ? Let's say 1000, are there any risks if I end up lowering it even more? Or even 750
