I don't have push button, but my assumption is if you want use it in a valet mode, you just remove the physical key from the fob. Then you can lock your trunk and glove box (Locks on the top of the rear seats and flipping the switch in the trunk to disable the trunk popper.)

Can you somehow validate this? I really hope you're right because my car doesn't have a push to start.

Mine as well. And all the others bought new (unless the dealer screwed up and lost ). The valet key is even mentioned in the Owner's Manual for the keyed cars.

I've looked into those in the past, since my car is parked in a garage a few blocks from my house, and anyone can just walk into the garage. But I've gotten so many warnings about it draining the battery, even from the guy who I was going to pay to install the system.

Decided not to go with it. If you drive your car every day though, your battery will be fine.

Crevice or crevasse? Always difficult to determine which is appropriate...

reason I'm asking is, I only got 2 but no valet key..

today I was shuffling through my glove box and found a parking ticket inside my glove box that doesn't belong to me... it's freaking me out because I'm 100% sure it wasn't there before as my glove box was empty when I bought the car. The owners manual and what not were in the trunk for some reason... I'm worried the previous owner opened my glove box and left it there for some weird reason. Call me paranoid but I've been noticing a suspicious car on my street twice and whenever I'd come out or my neighbour right beside me does, he floors his shitty civic and disappears. I tried chasing him but he was going at least over 100kph down a residential area.. I now park my car inside my garage... I might be sketching out but it's pretty suspicious..

Good plan to park your car in the garage.

Oh, BTW ......... you did change the locks on your house after you moved in ..... ?? ......

Have you ever burned little holes in your curtains with a cigarette ...... just to look outside ......

Yes

I know it sounds ridiculous but where the f did this thing show up from? I hate having papers in my glove box because they always get wrinkled up, instead I put them on the back side of the passenger seat (there is a pocket)
How did I replace a cabin filter and empty out my glove box without noticing something like this?

I definitely agree- just chiming in with some ideas. If they're that bad at casing I guess he's probably safe. haha Mostly just curious about the repeated speeding off but to be honest that's not that out of character for most Civic owners.
