Does the Valet Key Reduce Performance At All?

I'm 6'3'' and have quite a few keys on my keychain. They tend to hang down and get stuck between my knee and the center console so I constantly have to move them to the inside of my leg. I'd rather not carry around the expensive key with the transponder in it loose in case I lose it.

So the question is: Will my valet key nerf the performance in any way? I wouldn't really mind losing it that much so carrying it loose is not an issue.

What do you need a lot of keys for? I carry my car key alone and my key ring for house and locker at work has 3 keys on it.

I used to have to take my exGF car key off her keychain before driving her car because it was about a foot long and had infinity keys and other devices on it.

The valet key is the one I normally use to drive...can't stand anything hanging from the ignition. Also keep one of regular fob key with house key in pocket to unlock, remote trunk, etc...

Hahaha, this is actually what got me thinking about this issue. "Well if I don't use the special key will it go into sissy mode? I need fast mode!"

3 keys for my home, 1 for my parents' home if I have to go do anything there, the FR-S key, 3 work keys, and a Bev Key. No lanyard or any of that shit, just a massive pile of keys.

You know excessive weight (keys) will wear out your ignition switch quicker over time...

It's more an issue with the fluid than the actual mechanism as I understand it...

Sounds like you need more than one keychain. I have 2 house keys and one to my aunts on a shorty lanyard bottle opener. Then I have my car key, work key, and filing cabinet key on a simple keychain.

Maybe put work and home on something and then just the bevkey and car key on something else?
