Valet key?

Do our cars come with valet keys?

reason I'm asking is, I only got 2 but no valet key..

today I was shuffling through my glove box and found a parking ticket inside my glove box that doesn't belong to me... it's freaking me out because I'm 100% sure it wasn't there before as my glove box was empty when I bought the car. The owners manual and what not were in the trunk for some reason... I'm worried the previous owner opened my glove box and left it there for some weird reason. Call me paranoid but I've been noticing a suspicious car on my street twice and whenever I'd come out or my neighbour right beside me does, he floors his shitty civic and disappears. I tried chasing him but he was going at least over 100kph down a residential area.. I now park my car inside my garage... I might be sketching out but it's pretty suspicious..

2 regular key fobs and 1 valet key when new.

Mine came with two keys, no valet- But mine was used as well so I can't guarantee. Regardless you should take photos of the civic, while I personally doubt someone would keep a key to throw things in your glovebox he could be casing your neighborhood. Was the date recent on the ticket?

Do you have push button start or a keyed ignition? If you have the former, there is not a valet key, if you have the latter there is a valet key..

I don't have push button, but my assumption is if you want use it in a valet mode, you just remove the physical key from the fob. Then you can lock your trunk and glove box (Locks on the top of the rear seats and flipping the switch in the trunk to disable the trunk popper.)

WOW Allowe you have outdone yourself with this one!
What is the plate number on the ticket?
What exactly do you think they are doing with your car?
What are you smoking?

No lock on glove box though.

Or he could live there, be picking somebody up, delivering pizza or about a million other things that involve Allowe in no way what so ever.

Could have sworn there was, but i have never locked a glove box in my life.. I figure that if someone wants to open it, they will.

I must be thinking of my girl friends car, she locks hers all the time (Really annoying when I want to grab a dang napkin and she is driving!).

So why does he gun it at the speed of light when I was behind him? How the hell did that ticket get there

And no it's dated 2013 June and it says scion on the ticket. Not my plate but I'm guessing it's the previous plate

Because he drives a Civic maybe?

It was likely there all along. Maybe stuck to the top or something. What possible reason in this world would somebody sneak into your car and put a ticket in the glove box?

It doesn't make sense I've changed my cabin filter and took out the glove box twice...

civic... possibly ricer... thinks u wanna race him, guns it? Happened to me a few times on the highway.

Maybe the ticket was always in the glovebox, fell into the little crevice behind the glovebox and eventually fell back in the glovebox?

I dont see the purpose of a person breaking into their old car to drop an old parking ticket that isnt applicable to the new owner.

Get a dashcam if you're paranoid. Get a 2CH one and have the rear dashcam pointing inside the car if you're reaaaally paranoid.

The 2CH one pointing inside has benefits for other situations in the car too.
