What are you doing with the gas pedal in this corner? What gear are you in?
If the rear is letting go it's likely because you either lifted off the throttle mid corner or you're too hard on the gas with too much steering angle. Any videos of what you're experiencing?

@cmurp96 your responses are cryptic and almost juvenile. I don't like being the word police, but it would really be helpful if you gave meaningful responses to our questions and actually used complete spelling instead of codes and slang more suitable for a text than on a forum where people are trying to help you. I'm happy to try and help you with your car, but I don't want to have to figure out what you're trying to say.
Saying it's a 40 degree turn taken at 60mph leaves a fair amount open for interpretation. It sounds like it's a sweeping turn taken at pretty decent speed, but the VSC is engaging before you expect it to, right? The first thing that comes to mind is that your VSC may not have been reset by the dealership using Toyota Techstream after the car was lowered, and is now not properly calibrated. If so, that can certainly explain your problem. The next questions have already been asked of you, but I didn't see a meaningful response given, specifically: - What are you doing with the car when the VSC engages? Meaning... - Are you powering through the corner while tightening your line? Or... - Are you coming in too hot and dropping the throttle, causing the rear end of the car to become unloaded? Start there and I'll try and help if I can. Last edited by RJasonKlein; 03-28-2017 at 09:21 PM. Reason: Corrected a typographical error. |

Wait, so it's temperature and radius? How are those two related?

-.15, if those are degrees, is very close to "stock" 0. I advise to rise negative camber to -2 to -2.5 front, -1.5 to -2 degrees rear, even on very same tires will rise grip when cornering noticeably, yet is reasonable enough to not affect tire wear much when daily driving.
P.S. For future, even if no printing capabilities, one can simply take a pic with phone from alignment screen. P.P.S. To rise camber i suggest buying camberbolts for front & lca for rear. Shouldn't be too expensive. Camber is unadjustable in stock twin suspension, and about only other means to get more neg. camber is if one lowers car, or if pays for something more expensive then bolts & some cheap rear lca (eg. SPC), for example camberplates/slotted coilovers with camberplates and such. |
