Do not ever listen to that guy's automotive advice again! Ever.

Ya, at that speed and angle you will start to lose traction on most surfaces. The nannies whole purpose in life is to try to regain that traction and that is all that is happening. If you pull back the speed or reduce the angle you maintain traction to where the nannies can live with it but you are just hitting the point where they are screaming "OH HELL NO".
Just turn them off (if in a safe place) and drift away. Keep in mind that a bit of gravel or a dip in the road surface could mean you may be here asking "Is this totaled?

40 degrees is pretty cold to be expecting that kind of traction from a summer compound.

Don't be so hard on yourself. We're all fucked up in one way or another. You've just had more time to enjoy it.

I didn't make fun of Ultra. His use of the alternative meaning of the word "degrees" was brilliant! The applause was well deserved.

Besides, isn't it Strat's turn? Nobody likes a pedant.

You have no camber and take it to the track? I would imagine you understeer like mad and the outside edge takes a crazy beating.

Also, new tires take a bit to burn the grease off. Plus, the car doesnt like the different aged tires front and rear. I ran tires like that for a while and had terrible time with the TC til I replaced all 4 then it went away. Not sure if its due to varying size or the levels of grip

I'm also gonna go with there is likely an input somewhere (helping) cause this.

Pro tip: the 96 in his user name probably stands for 1996, which means he's a young buck full of hubris and ready to make bad decisions.

I also doubt that the track experience is real, if it was, I'm sure he'd have a far better idea of what's going on mid-turn. Doubly hard to believe he tracks given that alignment, didn't realize understeery alignments were so good for track days.
