Piping can actually fit without issues, there are few kits available in UK sold by few well known tuners... maybe heating could be an issue yes because of the location positioning but then again, I didn't hear of many issues from the aforementioned kits. The only problem I have with those I found is that except one all the others seems to use almost unknown components... well at least for me.

For sure he has his own bolt on kit for the 86/BRZ called the Coyoda Kit. Its a kit designed by him and Tony Young at Coyote Tuning. Very slick kit.

Fensport sell the AVO kit. Tuning Developments in the north have their own kit based on the FA20Club kit and available in EL and UEL manifold configs. Abbey Motorsport have been looking at a turbo kit too. Many work with RHD. Plenty of options here in the UK if you want a turbo.

So far the kit that I really liked/loved are the Greddy and the Ptuning (sadly this one not available for RHD). Is Greddy available in UK? Also who would be a recommended tuner in the area of London and surrounding (like up to 60 miles far) ? |

TD's kit is made here by a good manufacturer, it's just the manifold is based on the FA20Club one. The rest of the kit is probably their own specs. Seems popular but they are in Warrington.
Abbey are just outside the M25 on south of London (Oxted). Fensport are in Cambridgeshire IIRC.

It turns the 5-minute belt replacement into a 5-hour affair that requires dismounting the turbo, replacing minimum 3 gaskets, and undoing no less than 19 fasteners, 15 of which are near impossible to get a wrench on, completely inaccessible with any torque wrench, and not recommended to be reused. That's just the beginning of the problems with the Greddy kit... Assuming your charge piping doesn't rub through due to fouling and poor routing.

I believe it may have been the Treadstone turbo kit, I haven't spoken to him in a while. Fensport will probably try and talk you into an Avo kit as they've done a fair few now, was pretty much the only kit on the market here for ages.

You should just look at the kits available for RHD cars and then see what people say about them. Superchargers are more linear and probably better for a track car. Turbos deliver tons of low-end torque, though not typically with the same precision. There's also lag. As for turbo placement, there are happy people with turbos in all sorts of places. It's more about the engineering of the individual kits. You can have crap and you can have gold in every position.

I would do it like this: PD blower for predominantly road use, Centri blower for the track, turbo for road or track if you want to make over 320ish wheel horsepower eventually. |
