Apparently the dealership I'm getting my car off uses something called 'nano coat'??

Just did a quick google search off it:

IMO dealership will never put as much love into the job though compared to a detailer trying to keep a excellent reputation..

Does it say anywhere that extra waxing can damage the opti coat because ill get my car detailed about once a month anyway...

2 coats of the opti for me, just gotta find someone good at it in Perth...
Opti-Coat is permanent, and you dont need to wax the car - at all.... trust me my car is over 3 years old now, one wash and its spotless glemming again, its amazing stuff. I got two coats on my car.

It is important however that you get someone who knows what they are doing when they apply it. Even a new car can have scratches so might have to do some cut and polish before it gets put on the car... once optiguard is applied its like a barrier.. so you dont want scratches underneth.. this is why its so good to get it done the day you get your car....

Always had my cars done at CarCareProducts with Pierre. Never looked back since.

I will let the pics to the talking.. Not my car though didnt take as many pics when I had my white GTI done.

Seems like only this place:
http://www.freedomcarcare.com.au

I'm going to give him a call tomorrow. It seems his new car application is quite pricey but i'm thinking the 2 coats. 3 coats is only ~$100 more though...

I called him up earlier today, and spoke to him about doing this 'new car' the Toyota 86. Maybe he could do Perthies a slight discount or something? LOL
Mines a white GTS coming in end of this month.

I said on the phone I would email him a gallery link of the Toyota 86 and request some high res pics from him from previous cars(with Opti-Coat installed), but he hasn't gotten back to me yet :/

Hahaha he is probably thinking u r extra anal about the results... Which is excellent.... After dealing with u he will be ready for my super analness....

Ive decided to request the dealership does not drill my bumper to fit the plates.... I want to fit a relocation plate kit on so no drilling is necessary....

Not really, The coat is invisible for the most part. Infact it almost in a way protects the paint from scratches. small ones anyway.if you ever have any panel damage caused by an accident then the product will need to be reapplied to the specific panel
