Nothing cheap going over 300hp regardless of sc or turbo. All supporting mods, FI kit and right tune and setup your cost of parts without labor WILL be 10k+.

Take a corner somewhere and it'll cost you an engine.

Above 300, almost everyone has had some kind of issue and it requires a lot of supporting mods to make it stable.

TL;DR dont fool yourself into thining 375-400 isnt a lot of power compared to stock, because it is.
Are you talking 300 wheel or fly horsepower?

I'm quite interested in this because if I can safely take it up to around 270 wheel hp by doing the exhaust then I probably would. It should have about 250whp when the harrop goes on, everything else stock.

Wheel. SC or turbo below is "safe", as in, it wont blow up when you dyno it. Anything after it really is like playing the lottery, some win, but most end up broke.

I believe superchargers on our platform creates a more balanced car over turbo-ed version, purely my opinion.
Yes, but nobody's really explored that territory. We know with a 100mm pulley on a C38, the intercooler is still not a significant restriction. Everyone I know of using a smaller pulley is using a custom intercooler setup.

I know a LOT of SC + E85 guys that track their cars on stock engines, without issue. The key is a good tune, and making sure you're not overheating.

The nice part with a basic SC, is you can't red mist, and decide to go to your "dyno queen" or "scramble boost" map at the track, and forget to change it back after that one straight when you're trying to chase someone down...
