I'm new to turbo kits, and need help deciding what else to get in addition to a kit.

Hey everyone, I'm new here and will be purchasing an frs in the next month or so. I have been looking into getting the Greddy turbo kit, but I would like to know what else, other than the kit, I should purchase so that I can properly get the most out of the kit. What I mean is, what other than the kit should I be purchasing to get this car to about 300whp?

Gauges...custom driveshaft to hook up that V160...accusump...you forgot a few

Although I guess that unicorn semen could be traded for some of those items.

A clutch and a tune from James M, but I am guessing you haven't done enough research to know who that is.

i didn't see this was his absolute 1st post or I would have been meaner.

**But really start reading through that link I posted. Start with the stickies and work your way down. Read build threads of peoples stuff you like. And know all the stuff you need BEFORE you start tearing up the car for the love of god.

i spent 6 months doing daily solid research before even buying parts and I made several expensive changes. You can't just slap a turbo kit in and go and there are too many of us assh0les around here to learn from. Don't ask what you should do or need to get, do the leg work and know yourself.

much luck to you
