You may even be able to mount this core behind your intercooler depending on how flexible the intercooler mounting is (or depending on your ability to create new mounts for the intercooler). In my case, my intercooler had just enough space between it and the condenser to fit in my 25 row setrab core. Also, the radiator can be moved forwards or backwards as desired with a little bit of DIY work on the top radiator brackets.

I have looked into the selection of setrab cores, and looking behind the grille, it seems my current series 6 13 row is just about the tallest that can fit under there. it is mounted in front of the FMIC so above it there is a rail in the way. where do you fit the 25 row core?

It is possible to send in your current V3 blower for an oil-fed "upgrade". More information is available in the thread I linked.

Behind IC where the rail does not get in the way.

I have Koyo radiator so I am not sure if there is enough clearance between that and the fmic. I will take off my bumper to check I guess

Radiators can move easily on this car. The top brackets are easy to modify/move if need be. Just drill new holes.

Any updates on the clearance with aftermarket koyo radiator? I'm currently in same position of upgrading to koyo radiator and swapping my 13 row setrab core that came with the Perrin oil cooler for a 25 row setrab.

Hi,

Different approach here.
I use 2 oil coolers of 10 rows each connected serial. Temps well controlled as oil pressure, SC with vortech 3.125" pulley, koyo rad, out side temp 90f. DD on backroads.
