Thanks yeah I usually do top off with 100 octane at the track for peace of mind. Final mix ends up being about 94-95 octane.

First impressions are it feels stronger than the old tune I was using (v. 2.074). It appears it's not running as rich as before and there's more ignition timing at the top of the RPM range (previously tapered to 25* at redline, now holds nearly 30*). I do see slightly more FLKC and KC on the log, but nothing alarming so undecided whether I'm going to use this at the track or not.

Going to do a few more data logs in the coming weeks and see how LTFT's and FLKC/KC looks.
Why was your IAT so high? were you just idling and letting it heat soak right before the pull? Also if you bring up you oil temps before logging, it would be more indicative of what will happen under track duty. But it looks pretty good considering the IAT were over 110.

I noticed my IAT's have been high ever since I installed an oil cooler. On the highway my IAT's sit about 20-25 F above ambient. On track it's more like 15-20 F above. I think the oil lines running so close to the intake box seem to be heating the air up.

My oil temps for those pulls were around 200-205 F. My peak track oil temps hit 245 F. I'd love to log pulls with those kind of oil temps, but not sure how I'd get them that high on the street.

One way to bring it up is do back to back to back 3rd gear pulls. Like 10x in a row. If people see you doing it they'll probably think you're crazy. I do it all the time after making adjustments to the calibration and collecting data to convert to dyno using virtual dyno. We have an industrial/warehouse area by where I live that's perfect for that. Not sure if you'll hit peak oil temps (maybe after 15~20 pulls), but it will get up there.

Hmm... there used to be an industrial area I went to for bedding track pads at night. But the last time I went, I pulled into the complex and my heart nearly jumped out of my chest when my headlights lit up two cop cars just sitting there waiting in the dark. Was a long awkward moment as I made a three-point turn in my loud rumbling FR-S with track-pads squealing and slowly slinked away lol.

I need to find another place to do some repeated pulls and brake bedding...

I too noticed higher IATs with oil cooler, I assume mostly cause it's down there dumping heat into the air before it gets sucked into the snorkel.

Also, my oil temps peaked at 218F on track a couple weeks ago... With a busted ass oil cooler missing some peak flow.

Yeah my peak oil temps from Sunday were close to that, around 222 F. Loved how cold the weather was that day! Logs showed minimal knock.

With the way the intake snorkel is located and how the oil cooler works that seems normal, the hot "dirty" air from the oil cooler radiator core is being dumped and naturally pulled upward into the intake.

Yeah that's a good point too. In hindsight if JR's oil/radiator cooler kit had been out earlier, I probably would have gone that route even if it meant slightly higher oil temps.

Put in third gear and run 6k rpms on the highway until the oil temp gets to where you want it, or close to.

So after the luster of a shiny new toy has worn off a bit. How are people liking these tunes? I'm tempted to give it a whirl finally but don't want to waste my time if it's not noticeably faster

the butt dyno feels a good bump from 2k to 4k RPM and 6k to redline
