My girlfriend hates my car in every way shape imaginable, but every time I have thought about selling it she is completely against it.

My girlfriend loved it when I showed her at the dealership. She told me I looked so happy and she was happy for me. I bought the car and picked her up and she loved it entirely.

Then the mods and car shows came and now she won't even ride in it with me since she's that annoyed but my "pointless hobby". It's not even about the money spent, more so about the time. Confusing thing? It's time when she's busy anyway and it's not like I could've spent it with her. She'd rather me not spend any time on my car at all

We've actually gotten into huge arguments about it and she even threatened to stop seeing me (she lives out of town with her mom for now while I'm settling our new place so I don't see her often) because I was at a car show instead of on FaceTime with her lol. Keep in mind, she knew about the car show for weeks and I told her before I left and she said it was fine.

Women.

My wife loves it. But then she had a Mini Cooper S for a long time, and used to autocross it, so she gets fun cars.

Why would you try to have sex in a bolstered racing seat? The rear seat is for sex... oh wait.

I got this with pretty much anything I did until I established to her that I'm an introvert and I need "me time". Nowadays I choose one thing for my me-time. it's when I double down (wash car then proceed to play games for the rest of the night/weekend) is when shit gets real and I'm in the dog house.

My wife refuses to drive my 6MT FR-S because she refuses to learn to drive a manual.

Her loss.

my fiancé loves that i got a BRZ. It is her favorite looking sports car under 50k. She also loves that is has way more room than my previous Miata and likes the looks better than my old Evo X.

first of all thank you for creating this thread

my ex as i am riding solo at the moment..well she pretended to like my car that is until she was actually passenger...she was afraid of the car and i offered her to drive the car so she can get a feel for it as a driver hoping it might help her feel more relaxed riding shotgun in the future

but she declined and said that she felt the road too much in this car and that it felt like we might spin out...then she said she felt too cramped and claustrophobic even though i folded the rear seats and moved her seat all the way back...... and that if a f150 hit us we would be screwed even though my fr-s got a better safety rating than her jetta. she would freak out any time i redlined the car..like hands covering her eyes screeching

she said she would no longer want to be in my car and that she prefers to drive her car with me as passenger

let's just say after that she got turned back quicker than my power steering did

My gf gets carsick super easy, and constantly bitches about how twitchy and rough the BRZ rides. Which is why we usually take my 600$ Corolla beater everywhere.

Wife loves the car. We bought it even though we had a little one on the way. Still loves the car now even though we have two kids now. That's what the Forester is for. Just waiting now for when we can get both kids into front facing so that we can resume family trips in the BRZ.

My wife took the BRZ when she went out tonight. She'll take whichever car is parked out front, even though she generally prefers her own car. She occasionally complains about driving the BRZ in the winter, but only because her car is AWD with really good snow tires.

Wife refuses to drive it or come with me on spirited drives. Thinks the mods I do are "ricing it out".

I actually joined this board since my wife just bought the BRZ in our household. I've been doing all the modding while she's been doing all the driving.
