If I was 40 years younger, I'd enjoy a big argument with you, but I'm not, so I won't go there. If my memory was better I'd have remembered that I've been here, done this, and got the T-shirt before, but I didn't, so now I'm making a note to never again make a post trying to comment about any of your "disinformation". Sir, you may proceed unchallenged by me in future.

Nothing bad about RGM or their kit/work. Quote:
I heard the Sprintex kit is nice though, never driven one. Yeah, enjoy it NA for now - these cars are awesome, whether you are NA or FI. I can imagine them feeling a little "asthmatic" on the highveld though.

I'd love a drive in a TC'd car... #justsaying
*hint hint anyone? I just like the smooth build up of power that SC's provide - and they "more or less" keep the same shape as the STD car, but with more kw/Nm obviously. *Update; I wasn't underwhelmed by the RGM car... but I can also say it didn't blow me away as much as I thought it might. However, still a fantastic upgrade on a stock car - especially at altitude. Based on my 2 drives I would say the sprintex one felt better to me (and had a bit more power, though I can't give figures... butt - dyno!).

That being said, there is no way I'd trust a Sprintex setup, and even though it makes most of its power on top, I'd go for the RGM/Vortech setup. You simply cannot beat RGM's experience and support.

Hey @Dammod
Just cos we're now discussing other options this doesn't mean you're off the hook on those dyno graphs :-) @sav I really want a harrop or edelbrock kit... But this idiot president of ours means I know how to explain to my missus I need another 20-25k for the kit... Which means it's unlikely to happen for a bit longer! ( happy wife happy life and all )

Yeah true. I wonder if RGM would be willing to install and support it?

It's easy to install either kit with just 2 people apparently, and you can flash a stock tune (from the respective factories) or get someone like Delicious to tune it. I have a Delicious tune currently, and very happy with it, so I'd stick with an update from them myself. They also use EcuTek (more "tune-able")and not the RGM plug-in/Unichip.

I also really liked the numbers coming from the sprintex setup when it first came out. Is the issue currently the SA installer?

The other big issue for me is the fact that it uses a water to air cooler. This means that if something goes wrong, it'll be pumping coolant into the intake. Hello hydro-lock...

SC kits are great, we could have signed up with one of those manufacturers to distribute the kits but I'm a turbo fan. A fan of the power delivery, power potential and methodology. There a few competent guys to go to in JHB for mechanical and tuning work should you decided to bring a SC kit in yourself.
