I went from $152 a month to $100 a month full coverage no accidents no tickets. It went down by just moving from St Paul to Cottage Grove. To put it more into perspective the 2016 jeep we just bought is still cheaper to insure even though my wife is the driver on that one and has one accident and 2 tickets...so explain that one to me lol

21 years old, 2016 limited brz, no tickets, no crashes, $100/month full coverage with progressive with a $1000 deductible. The deductible is high, but the insurance is really low for this car and my age so, I'll take it. I live in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Im in Bergen County NJ, 26 y/y, currently with Geico @ $160 per month (for 6 months) full cover with $1000 deductible. I dont drive the car that much anymore thats why i picked $1000 deductible.

Oh and thats including that i have 2 points on my insurance record that will be taken out november 2016, so the insurance should be even lower after then.

Southern MD, 20, Erie Insurance, $155 a month (would be lower if I paid per year), $500 deductible, no tickets, no accidents, college student and good grades.

I am 22 and my monthly payment is only ~$60. Granted I don't have full coverage (probably will upgrade soon) which is probably why it's so low. I also have USAA who give me discounts for pretty much everything (legacy discount, safe driver discount, good student discount, good looking discount... )

My premiums haven't increased at all either. I had a hunch that buying a "sports car" would be a little more expensive to insure, so even if my rate goes up I really can't complain. This car really attracts that age group (my age group) who buy this car because it looks great and we need to show off how absolutely friggin awesome it is even though we haven't quite honed our hooning skills just yet. I think we all knew this going in so as sucky as it is, it seems like it will be a fact of owning this car.

I have usaa almost 21 no tickets got in a accident (no fault of my own wasn't even driving that got totaled) and I pay 160 in Florida for a 13' Brz limited 😔😔😔😔 damnnn

35, Brethren Mutual, 1600 a year full coverage. No tickets. Might be high but my multi-policy discount basically gives me free homeowners insurance.

Even though this thread is stupid and pointless.

30, USAA, $80 a month, 100/300 with $500 deductible, for a BRZ and Golf R in Hawaii. I actually have a minor accident on file. Hawaii insurance, apples to apples, is just a touch above Florida rates for me, compared within the same week.

You guys aren't even listing coverage limits lol...

Your insurance is dependent on not just your age, but your buying habits if your insurance company is shady enough, credit, and if you're too loyal to one provider, you're only screwing yourself.

I don't have a BRZ/FRS, but I do have a 2010 Subaru STI... I talked to Geico, and if I switched over to a BRZ, my insurance rate would actually go up by about 15%. How is that possible? Switching to a Porsche Cayman, BMW 4 series, or a Lexus RC would be cheaper to insure than a FRS/BRZ. A stingray Corvette would only be $15 more per month than the BRZ/FRS.

FWIW, I'm 28 years old, living in Chicago.
