Brake pedal switch, and gear position selector are the two things that immediately came to mind for me as well. Screw all these bandwagon people, lol.

Brake light switch is the least likely because the same switch for the lights generally feeds the starter cutout logic.


NSS on the other hand can be notorious for being fine one minute and not the next. Saw it all the time with automatic saabs.

Wanted to update and to help other members that may have the same issue.
We found out the issue was a faulty inhibitor relay. Car would start right up after jiggling the relay. Just order one and should come in soon . whenever the car doesn't start, I just start pushing on the relay again and vola!!!

It's on the left side of the engine bay within the fuse/relay box.

Top, black relay on the right.
Right below the word "FUSE".
