Keyless Entry Reversal on 2013 BRZ

Hey everyone,

I have a 2013 Subaru BRZ Limited in Canada. I saw the post about being able to change the keyless so that when you hold the handle, it will unlock both doors as opposed to one. I noticed when i did this and am walking up to the car and click the unlock button instead, now it will only unlock one door, which basically mean the two things were reversed.

I would like to revert it back to what it was before which is the button unlocks both door and the handle only unlocks one. I tried doing the same method (open door/hold unlock and lock for 5 seconds till it beeps), however it won't revert back. Didn't see anything in the manual either.

Anyone able to shed some light on this or do i need to go into a dealer?

TL;DR: did trick to change smart key unlock to both doors without button, want to revert back to one door/both doors with unlock button, how?

Thanks

This isn't really an answer to your question but don't you press unlock twice to unlock both doors?

I can but it beeps like 4 times which is kind of annoying. Would prefer to revert it back to hit unlock to open both doors and use the handle to only open driver's side door.
