BRZ Keyless entry?

Sport-tech offers push start, but I wasn't able to confirm whether we will have keyless entry like the US model (eg. no touching key fob, unlock car by grabbing door handle). Asked the dealer and they were clueless.

As shown here:

Can anyone confirm this?

i believe if you have the push start and digital auto climate, then you should also have fancy touch sensitive door handles. i have yet to see a 86/frs/brz package that didn't come with the touch sensitive door handle but have the start button/digital auto climate.

just tested this.

if the key fob is next to the driver door, the passenger door handle will not respond to anything.

if the key fob is next to the passenger door, the passenger door handle will lock/unlock.

Hm, not sure if the Canadian version will have it though. We have a tendency for getting shafted over here.

It'd be a very nice feature. Thanks for answering!
