The thing I have paid attention to is you making threads of these wish list builds with no purchased parts but hopes and dreams and a 50 shot

I was thinking that I could get there with the supercharger plus nitrous, but after all the feed back ill probably go turbo.
you got a team? That sounds pretty legit

I will admit that that the reason I have been stuck is there was no local guy where I live that tunes ecutek. All those other threads were to show what nitrous could do because I haven't really seen any builda on it yet. But here recently I found a ecutek tuner in my neck of the woods and going to start piecing everything together. Given feed back I dont think ill hit 9 with what I want to do or with my budget that one part is a dream. Maybe after a new trany and turbo. Right now I think ill go stait up nitrous.

Honestly I think the best thing you could do is work the car little by little and make it faster gradually. It will help you learn along the way.

Have you taken an 86 in its stock form down the strip yet?

he has a whole other thread with another build type thread with a list of un-purchased parts and a 50 shot or something like that, he seems clueless to what it actually takes to build a car and basically is just posting wish lists with times that don't make sense.

it would be way more cost effective and actually be able to get to the 9's with a 2jz

I have takrn several down in Stock and modified form. I do not know everything avout the 86 bit im learning. And thats kind of why I started this build thread im bot planning on doing this build in month it will take me a while. I wanted to here feed back from this community to get to the goal I posted first. Like I said earlier this stage one. It will take a lot to make a 4 cylinder a 9s car, bit it will happen with mine. Just not this year and maybe not next year with the feed back I got. I didnt know how weak these transmissions are that is the biggest set back for me other then that my build is still going as planned.

I'd rather just swap a SC or TT LSx motor. Saves money and will probably be more reliable.

LSX would be overkill for this car. An ls1 with heads cam and 200 - 250 shot sprayed progressively would be more than enough to go 9s or better
