True story. When mine was fixed up after its accident, damage was about 10k. Drives just as good as it ever did, and I've put maybe 12 hard track days on it since. Even my HPDE instructor mentioned it felt just as solid as his two month old car. It did take about 8 weeks to fix, but they ordered all oem parts from Subaru save for the AC condenser (which works waaaaay better than stock did) because the car was only out for four months or so at the time.

Quality of the parts used and skill of the repair shop make all the difference.

I was really upset at first because the car was so new, but I bought it with the intention of driving it till it comes apart then putting it back together stronger anyway. If not on the road it would have eventually happened on the track. I'm just grateful the 10k didn't come out of my pocket for that one haha

No. You can often drive a car with frame damage.
