Wheel/tire/suspension question
Another topic about wheels and suspension. So I've finally decided on wheels after looking for about a year. I decided on wedssport sa10r 18 x 8.5 square set up. I'm also planning to drop it with eibach pro-kit and add MPSS. Does anyone know if the car will loose that tail happiness with this set up? I love it when I chuck it in a corner and the tail comes out. I'm thinking that it would take a lot more effort to get the tail out because of the stickier tires and wider wheels.

Maybe I should hold off until there's a little bit more power under the hood. I may just put on the MPSS first to find out how it will change the handling characteristic. I just don't like the wheels and the gap. Cosmetically, new wheels and dropping it would looks so much better in my opinion.

The wheels, tires, and springs are great choices! Do it! The car will be more confidence inspiring! And look better! Sure you will lose some of the oversteer. Seriously though, when do you oversteer on the street? I just upgraded to 245/35/18 mpss all around. AMAZING!

Any ham-fisted driver input will still apply - it'll just not occur at the slightest of inputs like on stock tires/wheels

I oversteer occasionally when I'm turning at lights in the middle of the night. Of course when no one is around. One of these days a cops going to be sitting somewhere and catch my ass. |

I first saw those wheels on an NSX. It looks nice! That was one of the wheels I wanted to get but decided to go against it. I thought it would get damaged with all the pot holes that we get in the winter.

Thanks! I love them! Though, the weds are a superior wheel! Definitely lighter weight, I would still get the same tire size as I have if you get them. I have the eibach pro kit springs. They are great. Still have not upgraded shocks.
