Too much offset in rear?

Ive got the KW V3's installed with Enkei Raijins which are 18x8.0 with +45 all the way around and I've been having trouble keeping the rear planted during heavy cornering without breaking and steady throttle input. I have tried to increase front rebound but it still seems the ass slides out more than I think it should be on warm Direzza Z2's. Is it because my offset it too extreme and not enough of the tire is in solid contact with the pavement? Any suggestions or just going to a new wheel?

what offset are you running?

What are your current suspension settings?

Be as detailed as you can. It could just be suspension settings as that is the main cause of handling issues.

Updated with +45 offset and the alignment had 0 toe all the way around and somewhere around -1 degree of camber all the way around? Im not exactly sure on the exact specs it was aligned long ago.

Even an excellent setup will be loose if you're ham-fisted behind the wheel.

Springs, sway bars, shock settings and valving, alignment, tire inflation, and user inputs all matter.

Offset will play less of a roll in the percieved rear grip than alignment, suspension settings on kws, and tire pressures. I'd play with all those first before worrying about changing rim offsets.

yea the settings on the suspension are what matters. KW V3's have a massive amount of adjustability. That is the settings you should be telling us. And what you should be playing with trying to eliminate what you are experiencing.

Did you get the alignment done after installing the KWs and wheels? Are you running the recommended bump and rebound settings on the KWs? Is this your first RWD car? Is it sliding too much when on the track, autocrossing or just on the street?
