Speaking from first-hand experience, it's SO much easier to iterate in Solidworks-land than it is to iterate in "real life." I can run several dozen structural analyses faster and cheaper, and load test the outcome to validate the analysis rather than test ALL the designs I think will work. Jake |

Am I the only one eagerly awaiting FuzzyFunk's first driving impressions?
@FuzzyFunk: I'm concerned you haven't shared anything yet. I'm wondering whether it's "press embargo", or whether your kit is underwhelming / has issues (hoping it's the embargo) |

In all likelihood, Cosworth probably spent more time and money on testing and engineering their SC kit, which is why it costs $2,000 more.
However, I highly doubt Edelbrock would offer a 36,000 mile powertrain warranty worth up to $16,500 without doing a fair bit of testing themselves. |

They 3D printed a mockup to test out fitment, locations of mounting holes, etc. That way they first casting run has a much higher chance of working right.

Man, I really want this.
Not even joking, I actually had a dream last night about installing it on my car. It was a pretty straightforward process from what I recall, hahaa |

Sorry I did not get a chance to really drive the car this weekend on my own and give you guys feedback. Getting married next month so my fiancé and I have been running errands every time we are off. Just daily driving it at 2-3K RPM with traffic it starts to pull. Past 3K, it just wants to GO GO GO! I had to adjust to it as I have a pretty heavy foot. My MPG has taken a massive dive now being in traffic with the sc. I feel like it's angry at me that I'm not using its full potential. I have not gone WOT on it yet but when I do, I'll be sure to give you guys my feedback. |
