much improved. I really gotta get off my ass and bend those metal bastards down. I was lazy and only bent them a fraction of an inch, didnt make much difference. Im trying not to drive late at night until I get those little tabs/shields bent down more.
Im gonna have to remove the headlamp housings from the car though, because I wasnt precise enough to be able to bend them all the way with the headlamps still in the car. |

What I am getting at is, can you over bend them or do you move them till the stop? Also, is your kit a 35watt or 55watt? |

35w, 90% of all the 55w kits out there are 55w ballasts with 35w bulbs so it just kills the 35w bulb's life.

It's not because the projector is horrible, it's because it's not designed to be used with an HID bulb. Halogens and HIDS have a different shape to each of their light emitting surfaces. Therefore the lens must be matched to the bulb. Here's a nice test with a writeup, pictures, and a video for those too lazy to read ![]() http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...nversions.html Bottom line: don't put HIDs in a non-HID housing. Brett

I'm personally just going to wait for the HID option to hit in the dealers in the US and then buy and install those on my car. Or get some BRZ HIDs and install those to get the halos.

Just say NO to plug n plays... they only way to get a true HID is to retrofit everything from an OEM HID (such as the ever popular TSX). But this is expensive. Probably at least $800 for the conversion.
$800+ to get a proper HID system versus like $60 to put bulbs in your stock headlight designed for halogens and you can see why people choose to destroy their night vision with the wrong equipment. Plus, have you ever driven in front of one of those assholes with PnPs? It is the most obnoxious thing ever. There are probably aftermarket kits out there, but I'm not aware of good ones.
