Hey hey let's not get crazy, I scream at 2k. But considering the lameness of the options anything over 300 is unacceptable for these add ons. Had they added TRD spoilers I would be ok with it.

Why don't people understand the way to higher sales is by listening to your customer. The FR-S is a niche product much like GSX-R's. You have a buying public that knows what they're purchasing and shouldn't be forced to get a machine I've put an exhaust on because I like it. Or buy a custom seat because it's already on the bike. That is BS and you make all in the auto industry look like weasels.

Shame on you for making my job more difficult for true enthusiasts MrFRSla.
Looks like someone came in mid tread. Wasn't my call.

Base price, and market adjustments have to be the same, as well as the price of each option, but, not every option needs to be on every car offered. Dealers can have "show" cars as long as the pricing on every installed option would match a car bought by someone off the street optioned in the same manner.

Pure pricing means you can't sell the leather for 3000 to Moto while offering it to me for 2500.

Well that's the case, GL to you... cuz after 7 pages of reading, most of us got a rough idea how your dealer rolls.

Nothing against you, keep up the selling & hope someone will buy those poor FR-S's.

That HP Pavillion is a nice arena and bringing in your own food is great

Now click the FRS link http://www.ftmyersscion.com/New-Inventory.aspx
Then click the '6253 Scion 2 Door 6 Speed Manual' link and note the wide variety of prices available.

Nope, I read through the whole thing. And it's a 'thread'.

I get it, you need to sell these cars and establish a value. However, you are on an enthusiasts' site and although you are an enthusiast, you shouldn't justify actions such as a $2995 leather install. Frankly, value you feel is beneficial can't be seen now because we want our cars.

It's ridiculous and isn't a moral thing that the dealer network you work for is making you do. You are better than that. Quit the place you're working, go work at Longo or another area dealer in SoCal that continually produces high numbers, even in down economic times.

What few units you might be able to sell won't make up for the moral dilemma you'll face by shafting people.

Sorry, too many pages to go through if I missed anything.

As you said you are up front about it and don't ask them to put deposit, how did you sold the two in the post you posted couple weeks ago?

Besides, leather is heavy, and it might be the difference between running a 15.47 and a 15.50 in the quarter mile....
I'm not saying I'd buy it either. But I also think the key difference between the BRS and the car we are talking about is that the leather scion is available now.

But you said the key words: "to me"

a ton of people in LA want the newest toy, and want it right away. It only takes one buyer to make the sale...

I just like pointing out the alternative thought process...

Yeah, the mustang was so iconic in the 90's.... Mmmmmmm rental car fleet.

The coyote saved the mustang in 2011, but the cheap getrag tranny almost sunk it. It has strong sales numbers because of the american power over performance mentality. Things are looking up however with the upcoming redesign and anniversary edition.
