You will need to use a clay lube product that lets the clay glide across the surface.

I would suggest using an aggressive clay bar for this problem.

Thanks for the heads up, if anything I'll probably have a professional do it to take out a few tiny rock chips that I have.

Hmm not sure. It's garage kept but it's possible. Took a pretty fair amount of elbow grease and got most off on the first run but still have more digging to do.

Thanks, I'll order some soon. How convenient that clay bar kits sold at your average auto parts store don't even come with lube

In my experience, the white dots are just from hard water that has dried before I can get it off. Vinegar and water, 50-50 mixture, takes them off without any problems...
