Just another point of view.
no doubt, just pointing out something that I at first did not know about when I recieved my ID's and it was annoying trying to make spacers and find bolts for it lol

Edit: Little side note, I find it funny how many people on this forum have had issues with DW injectors. I ran them on my 05 sti for the longest time and never once had an issue. I'm not sure if things have changed since then though.

Lol, I couldn't have hooked you up anyways. We are very strict with our MAP policy.

Wonder about the bigger ones?

Has anyone made any direct injector upgrades yet?

I just wanted to add something to this post.

After puzzling over the fact that so many people have had issues with Deatschwerks injectors, I started to do some digging. Now i'm not 100% sure how most people set their injectors up, but after speaking with a few people and Deatschwerks themselves, the problem was not the injector but the harnesses used to connect the injector to our stock plugs.

I had bought PnP harnesses from them a few months ago, and after speaking with them on the phone they have informed me they have updated PnP harnesses. The problem with the old ones is the contacts on the harness side were slightly too short which were causing issues. I have yet to even start my car so I can't report if I had issues or not.

You have two options:

Run this double sided connector, which eliminates wiring:

http://www.deatschwerks.com/products...adapter-detail

Or pick up their PnP connectors (which have been now updated):

http://www.deatschwerks.com/products...us-sumw-detail

I have been informed that if you use the first connector you may have to slightly file down the edge of the injector cover on the inside for clearance.

I have heard of the harness issue. Is it isolated to DW or all PnP harnesses.

I am not 100% sure but DW is aware that the harnesses they were selling had issues. I'm assuming its just DW. I used ID's without issue and their harness was fine, can't speak for any other injector.

I have no experience I can only pass along what I learned from a master Subaru Tuner on the BRZ, and he told me I don't need any injectors for my current turbo build. He said he can tune it in to give me 350whp for daily driving on the stock injectors without any issue.

Any updates on the DW injectors if they've sorted the issues or are the ID's still the better bet .
