Just got a reply from Hutch, from John himself, the guy that kept the brand alive, kewl! The frames, forks and bars are made in Taiwan, but the rest is American made. I was hoping it was all American made, but Taiwan is the "good China" in my view and there's a reasonable expectation that it's not some sweatshop kid welding the stuff up for a dollar a day so I can get with it.

I got into BMX when the dk six pack was all the rage. I rode a heavy as balls Mira Haro.
Eventually got a hand me down dk that I believe was stolen but I was 15 and didn't care. Kinda gave up the fun stuff just when I started getting better. Ahhh the old days..... No surprise there'd be so many people on a car forum that used to be into biking. It was my first form of modding and a good source of adrenalin. Hell even Mira races now lol |

Got a burn scar on my leg after criss crossing my legs on the rear pegs at speed.
And ive got scars on my shins from when the pedals would come back around. My pedals were metal with nubs on them so it had no mercy. Edit: wait a sec... |
