V8 just because of the sound. Puts hair on your chest every time you start it.

What part of the question is unclear?

Is the phrase "There's no replacement for displacement." true, or not?

its a yes or no answer. And that BS reasoning, well depends on what you need it for.

Thats a Straight cop-out answer.

Who the F* cares about what you need it for?

Pulling a stump... 5.7l diesel can't quite cut it, but if I put a turbo on it then it could. Or maybe I'll get a 7.0l diesel.

Its a constant regardless of the application.

Turbo-life 4 evar.

But seriously, everything is better with a turbo. It doesn't matter how big the engine is. A turbo makes it better.

Formula 1, IndyCar, time attack racing: TURBOS!

Weight & balance are more important than people think. High revving engines with turbos in light/balanced vehicles > vehicles with huge torquey engines.

I'm partial for displacement and high-RPM motors because reasons.....

I'd rather flog around a 911 GT3 RS with a 4.0 L H6 than a EJ207 with 500 HP

Sharkwerks has a 4.1L stroker kit for the 997.2 GT3's 3.8L. Takes it from 450hp/319tq to 543hp/400tq. That's what I want.

Granted, I could buy two BRZs for the price of the stroker kit, but still.

Why is there loose hair falling from inside the roof of your car?

I'm on the fence here too, I don't like these new low-RPM small turbo engines, but I also dont like low RPM V8s.

Much prefer a smaller, naturally aspirated high RPM screamer.
